Get the app
Cafe Kinship works perfectly well in a browser — these just give it a home on your dock or home screen. Everything stays in sync either way.
Install from your browser
The quickest way, and it works everywhere — including iPhone, where there's no download below. Nothing to install from a file, and it updates itself.
On iPhone: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On a Mac, this is the way to get it — there's no separate download.
Or download a build
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Your phone will ask you to allow installing from this source — that’s Android asking permission, not a virus warning.
Add-on: Cafe Kinship Games
Installs, updates and starts Cafe Kinship: the game, and keeps other games on your PC in one place. Updates only download what changed. You don't need it if you have the Windows app above: that has the same Games tab, and the two share the game, so it's never downloaded twice.

Why does my computer warn me?
Windows and Android show that warning for any app that didn't come from their own store. It isn't a virus alert — it means the file hasn't been through their approval process yet.
These builds are a window onto this website. The one extra on Windows is the Games tab: it installs and starts Cafe Kinship: the game when you press its buttons, and starts games you add yourself. It only touches the game's own folder and the programs you pick, doesn't read your other files, and the website can't use it. Everything else happens on cafekinship.com, exactly as it does in your browser right now.
If you'd rather not click past a warning at all, install from your browser above. It does the same job.
